What attitude do you have toward exercise? What about your family background, experiences, and education contributed to that attitude? Do you think many people are influenced by how they grew up?
My attitude to exercise is it is necessary.
Education is the main reason. Then, personal experience. Educational endeavors have continued to stack the reasons.
Longevity
Sarcopenia
Fall risk
Independence in older adults
Weak muscles, spasms, compensations, tendinopathy, achilles ruptures, rotator cuff tears, etc.
Exercise has helped me with fat loss before quickly and easily, with minimal need.
It also increases my healthy weight, up to 15 lbs with muscle, with consistent use. Interested to see if that would also increase with additional consistency.
Many people are influenced by how they grew up. We are being taught how to live by our parents, from mannerisms to life choices. Nostalgia for coping mechanisms, included. Some people go on to try to do the opposite of their parents. Education and outside influences may be the reason, when comparisons are available.
